Fee Refund Policy

The Dashrath Prasad Singh Institute of Health Education (DPSIHE) follows a transparent and standardized policy for the refund of fees, guided by the regulations of the affiliating university/council and relevant government norms.


General Refund Rules

  1. The refund amount will be calculated based on the date of receiving the written application for cancellation of admission/withdrawal from the course. Telephonic or verbal requests will not be entertained.
  2. Admission Fee and Registration Fee are typically Non-Refundable under any circumstances.
  3. The refund policy is subject to change based on any new guidelines issued by regulatory bodies like the INC (Indian Nursing Council) or the concerned State Government/University.

Refund Schedule for Course Fee (Tuition, Development, Library, Lab Fee, etc.)

*The "Course Fee" for refund calculation typically excludes non-refundable charges like Admission Fee, Registration Fee, and charges for books/uniforms already distributed.


Hostel and Mess Fee Refund

The refund for Hostel and Mess Fees is processed separately and is calculated on a prorata basis based on the number of full months remaining in the academic session after the student officially vacates the hostel and clears all dues.

A minimum deduction equivalent to one month's fee may be applicable as administrative charges, irrespective of the date of withdrawal.


Security Deposit Refund

The Caution Money/Security Deposit is fully refundable after the successful completion of the course, or upon withdrawal, provided the student has cleared all financial dues and no damage to institutional property (library, lab equipment, hostel, etc.) is reported. The refund process typically begins after the closure of the academic session.

Application Process for Refund

To initiate the refund process, the student must submit the following documents to the College Administration Office:

  1. A formal, signed application for withdrawal from the course.
  2. Original Fee Receipt(s).
  3. Original Admission Letter.
  4. Copy of Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque for NEFT transfer.

The refund amount will be processed within a specified period (e.g., 60-90 days) after the college receives the application and verifies the documents.
